Employer Visits
Managed pupil group visits to local employer premises; pupils learn first-hand how products are made and business is organised. Duration: half a day.

Enterprise Activities
Pupils learn about business concepts through active and experiential activities e.g. games, role-play, problem solving, challenges, and case studies.

Build a Bridge
A design and make team challenge. We are always looking for input from building engineers, structural surveyors and civil engineers to help provide simple technical information at construction events. You would be asked to participate either half a day or a whole day.

Reading Friends
Business and community volunteers are trained as reading partners to primary children with the aim of improving reading ability. Training of a couple of hours is provided and you then only have to give up an hour of your time once a week for this worthwhile work.

Number Partners
Business and community volunteers are trained to play number games with children who have weak number skills. Training of a couple of hours is provided and you then only have to give up an hour of your time once a week for this worthwhile work.

Science and Technology Fair
Businesses provide a range of inter-active tasks representative of their business, raising awareness of the broad range of businesses involved in science and technology.
