Peter Jones, the tycoon from the BBC Dragons' Den, visited Solent Skill Quest in June to hear about some of the enterprising projects undertaken by local students. Students from Ringwood School, Swanmore College of Technology, and Norwood School were all winners of Enterprise Competitions, for which they had designed products and drawn up business and marketing plans.
Peter Jones' visit to the site had been to judge the Millbrook Technology Campus, where Solent Skill Quest has its offices, for the regional finals of "Enterprising Britain". The Final will be held in London in October 2008.
