On the 2nd November over 130, year 10 students took part in a dragons den event at the college. The theme was the environment and sustainability and students had to come up with an idea for a new product or service that would benefit the environment.
The teams had to make a prototype and market their product, which culminated in a trade fair where they had to try to gain investment from the dragons.
Both the students and business facilitators really enjoyed the day with 1 quote “Book up another day like this and count me in"

The winning team was Applelite – Solar powered tent lights that attach to a peg. They will now go on to represent the school in the PUSH ahead challenge where they will develop their winning idea further.
